Anna has been in the Beauty industry for over 15 years. As an internationally qualified beauty therapist Anna has previously worked and managed top salons and spas in the Hawkes bay. Over 12 years ago Anna was one of the first therapists to learn eyelash extensions when it was only available for qualified beauty therapist's to learn. In 2012 Elm Cottage Beauty Therapy was opened in her home town of Hastings. Since opening her salon the business has grown rapidly seeing Anna booked out weeks in advance. " Everyday I love coming to work, I have clients still coming to see me after 15 years!! All my clients are incredibly special. I love being able to brighten up their day. Why Elm Cottage Beauty Therapy
Established in 2012 Elm Cottage Beauty Therapy is a boutique Beauty Therapy salon. All Beauty Therapy treatments available, but specializing in eyelash extensions and henna brows. The 102 year old Cottage set on a quiet street is a tranquil place for clients to come and relax. Plenty of parking. You will find Elm Cottage on the corner of Elm and Oak roads, Beauty sign at the gate. Seating on the deck in the sun for you to sit back and relax prior to your appointment.
Late Cancellations
Just Let Us Know
Stuff happens, and sometimes you need to cancel your appointment with us. We get it. If you need to cancel more than 24 hours before your appointment, just give us a call or shoot us a message letting us know. If you don’t let us know or have to cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, we take 50% of the appointment as a fee. Talk to us to find out more.

Eyelash extensions before appointment and aftercare
Prior to appointment
Please avoid mascara and oily products on eyelashes on the day of your appointment. Mascara and makeup free lashes make a clean and hygienic work area for eyelash application. Mascara and make up on lashes on arrival to your appointment will effect lash adhesion resulting in quick fall out.
Avoid caffeine, it's a chance to lay back and relax.
Post appointment aftercare
Avoid water, steam, swimming and crying for 24 hours post appointment.
No mascara on the lash extensions, mascara feeds bacteria and effects the effectiveness of glue bond
Don't pull or play with eyelash extensions
Brush your lashes with a lash brush, rinse with warm water during your shower (after the first 24 hours). It's recommended to also use a specialized eyelash cleanser to help keep lashes clean.
Avoid oily products in lashes as it effects lash adhesive.
Extra information
We prefer not to infill or remove other artists eyelash extensions. Please contact us for advice prior to booking appointment if you have eyelash extensions from another lash artist.
Some medications and medical conditions may be a contraindication to having eyelash extensions. Feel free to send a message if you have any questions or concerns prior to appointment booking.
After 4 weeks from last appointment it will no longer be a refill, a booking for a full set will be required.
Please when booking be clear which lash set you require as classic, hybrid and volumes all have different time frames for appointment

Elm Cottage Beauty Therapy is a very popular Beauty Salon. This means we’re usually booked to capacity. If you show up late to your appointment (without letting us know), we can’t guarantee we’ll be able to give you the complete allotted time since we don’t want to keep any of our other clients waiting.
